From the vineyard site called L'Urdia in Verduno; one of the best Barbera vineyards in the region. Burlotto's parcel – covers 0.77 hectares is located on the “Cassano Spinola” formation- calcareous marl, faces west and rises up to 360 meters above sea level. This barbera expresses depth, structure, density of flavor and variety of aromas.
One of the densest and darkest of Burlotto's wines, this is a terrific Barbera with loads of plummy blue fruit and blackberry flavors. Will age effortlessly for 6-8 years. It's a crusher!
