Double Char uses the original Bib & Tucker recipe - a mash of roughly 70% Corn, 25% Rye and 5% Malted Barley - aged for 6 years in new American oak, and then finished for a minimum of 5 months in separate, heavily charred oak barrels. Bottled at 88 Proof.
TASTING NOTES: Aromas of candied apples, cinnamon-sugar, white pepper and clove with hints of charred oak and roasted peanuts. Loaded with flavors of toasted vanilla, burnt caramel and sweet corn with thouches of cherries, toasted cinnamon and white smoke. This packs a whole lot of flavor in into a smooth-sipping 88 proof bourbon. Drink it neat or over ice, of course. Batch #01
