The Mazzei 2020 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Castello Fonterutoli offers rich texture, lots of dark fruit and an overall oak-driven approach. It ages in 500-liter French barrel for 18 months (with 50% new oak) and then rests in cement for four months. It finishes softly with cinnamon, baking spice and a sweet note of white chocolate.
