With incredibly old vines that average 70 years old, this is truly a special domaine, and one that is qualitatively ON FIRE, yet extremely affordable.
NOTES: Really pretty hues, a deep ruby core with a rusty orange-red rim,. The nose is a little mature, yet not fading, with black raspberry liqueur, cherry cobbler, mission fig and sweet damson plum. Shows background notes of wild provencal herb (Garrigue), aromatic baker's spice box and a touch of ground white pepper. Savory and mature with a soft palate texture. A balanced, classic Chateauneuf.
