The Dampierres have been one of Champagne’s most prominent families for over 700 years. Well known in France but little known in the USA, this is the nonvintage cuvée comes from Chalk soils in Bouzy on the Montagne de Reims.
An assemblage of 70 % Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay grown on the Chalky limestone soils of Bouzyon the south side of the Montagne de Reims hill, where it delivers powerful Champagnes based on Pinot Noir.
