60% Cab Sauv, 26% Merlot, 12% Cab Franc, 2% Petit verdot
Keith's noted from the recent d'Armailhac Vertical tasting"
A powerhous Pauillac. Aromas of ripe currants and framboise liqueur comined with iron/blood note, rubbed herb and graphite/pencil lead and tobacco.
It is just starting to develope some of the beautiful cellar-earthy tone in the background. Long lived and just begining its journey but we loved it. - Keith
VINTAGE NOTES: This is a stunning vintage from top to bottom in all appellations and in all price ranges. If you have the money, this is one of the best Bordeaux vintages to lay down in your cellar. These stunning wines will only get better and more expensive. Patience is advised.
