43% Cabernet Sauvignon, the rest split between Merlot, Cab Franc and Petit Verdot. Located on the "tertre" (Meaning "hillock" or "rising ground") from which it takes its name, the ancient origins of Château du Tertre are traced back to as early as 1143.
Wonderful aromas of crushed blackberry, boysenberryand other black fruits. A touch of tobacco, cedar and dark earh tones come out with air. Full-bodied, with very fine tannins and a long, caressing finish. All about finesse. -Keith
