The wine is produced from approximately 70% Monastrell from old vines up to 100 years old and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Built like a Mack Truck. Solid and dense. This is the pinnacle of big red. If you are looking for a opulent, deep, rich, monster-like wine with a hedonistic mouth feel, look no further. Clio once again offers an explosion of flavors and scents contained within an elegant, strong structure making for a harmonious, complete wine. A youthful black-purple color is followed by liqueur-like aromas of creme de cassis, framboise, boysenberry and black currant jam. Definitely full-bodied, with tons of richness and a decadent mouth feel to the black fruit melange of flavors. -Keith
