There is nothing not to love about a clean, fresh Gavi Di Gavi. A wine so good they named it twice! Proof that old vines make great wines, this is 100% Cortese grapes from hillside vineyards up to 65 year old . A pale straw in color with delicate greenish highlights. Plenty of lemon and citrus fruit notes on the nose. Almost comparable to and entry-level Chablis, yet lighter on its feet. Racy, crisp granysmith apple and lemony citrus fruit on the palate as well as notes of almond paste-Marzipan. The finish is crisp, lifted, rejuvenating and refreshingly long. - KEITH
