One of the largest and most respected producers in Burgundy, Faiveley is now on its seventh generation and is still growing.
The Grand Cru of Echézeaux is located on the upper slope of the hillside above Clos de Vougeot and just south of the Grand Cru Le Musigny. Domaine Faiveley owns a total of 2.18 acres spread across multiple plots.
The soil of Faiveley's parcels are well-draining, pebbly limestone with clay. This encourages the vines to grow deep root systems that gives fantastic, high-quality fruit resulting in a wine that is much richer, more structured, and built to age beautifully.
