(Everyone loves half-bottle Champagne)
This estate began just after World War Two when former owner named his brand Champagne Jeeper in tribute to the Willys Jeep he acquired from the American military at the end of the Second World War. The American Jeep allowed him to tour the rugged, war torn vineyards in total tranquillity. This estater owns over fifty hectares of vineyards in operation on some of the finest plots (in the Montagne de Reims, the Côte des Blancs, the Marne Valley Ardres Valley) in historically renowned villages such as Ambonnay, Cramant, Bouzy, Oger, Vincelles, Trélou sur Marne, Ville-Dommange, Savigny sur Ardres, giving us perfect coverage across the Champagne region.
NOTES: This is their Blanc De Blancs- 100% Chardonnay Cuvee
A half bottle is the perfect size. 100% Chardonnay with fine, small persistent bubbles and an easy going, non-agressive, soft mousse. An enchanting bouquet of fresh citrus fruits, including lemon and grapefruit, intertwined with delicate floral aromas and hints of white peach. Subtle nuances of toasted brioche, almond, and minerality add depth and complexity to the aroma profile. What is not to love? Champagne at 50% off!
