A beautiful ruby-garnet color. The nose jumps from the glass, with fresh, crisp red fruit flavors. The nose is rich, with bright, crunchy red currants, red cherry, cranberry, pomegranate and wild raspberry notes. Sweet, fresh and flavorful on the palate showing the depth and richness of the 2020 vintage combined with a firm core of tangy red fruit flavors that hang on the palate. Terrific value here. 2020 was a hot-dry vintage leading to good ripeness and concentration of extract. The result was a good vintage with reduced yields. This Bourgogne Rouge is mainly harvested from select vineyard sites in the Cote de Nuits and Cote de Beaune.
