31 years old and drinking like a champion, this 1st growth estate excelled in the 1983 vintage.
Keith's Notes-recent tasting: It brings the "funk" with savage notes of animal and blood/iron aromas in addition to the saturated black fruit flavors and mineral driven notes. Every person at the table loved the complex, mature notes. Brilliant wine!-Keith

Super-refined 1983 Bordeaux with an excellent deep ruby color and intense cigar-box, plum and berry aromas and flavors; there's even a hint of mint. It's full-bodied but very reserved in style with fine tannins and a seductively long finish. (JS)
