There is a crunchy, crisp, red berry freshness that mixes with some black cherry, plum tart, and blackberry cobbler notes. A thread of savory dried herb (garrigue), briary underbrush and stony moneral notes add to the complexity. It's just a great, no-brainer Cotes Du Rhone for more everyday drinking.
