Made at Lux Row Distillers in Bardstown, Kentucky using their original recipe that dates all the way back to 1849 - a mash of 68% Corn, 20% Wheat and 12% Malted Barley, and the purest Kentucky limestone-filtered water. Aged 4+ Years and bottled at 113 proof.
TASTING NOTES: Loaded with aromas of toasted bread, brown sugar and baking spices. This has a rich, silky texture, layered with flavors of warm honey, buttery caramel, dried plums and clove. After a few sips notes of vanilla bean and cinnamon-raisin bread start to linger with touches of candied caramel apple. This is surprisingly smooth for a 113 proof bourbon - "Smoother than you'll ever be".
