
A 100% estate grown (no purchased fruit) blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Petit Verdot. This "All Estate grown" Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso really needs no help at all, but the 15% Petit Verdot lends a deeper, rich color and needed backbone/structure to this juicy, fruit driven Cabernet. Aged in Fench & American oak (60% new) for 18 months.
A robust Cabernet, this shines with all the sun-baked warmth and ripeness that Paso Robles provides. Aromas and flavors of liquored black cherries, warmed berry compote, and lush, sweet black currants. Backnotes start to fill in with air, as aromas of baking spice, tobacco and vanilla oak notes come forward. It finishess spicy, yet smooth and easy going with soft, plush tannins.
